Purpose & implementation
Less repetition in the terminal
FastFlow (ff) is a lightweight Git workflow helper written in Bash. It groups common Git operations into short commands while keeping the underlying workflow visible.
A deliberate push workflow
The ff push command combines interactive staging with a commit and a push to the current branch. Main-branch protection blocks selected history and push operations by default, with an explicit command to disable that protection.
Additional helpers cover branch switching, pulling with rebase, and viewing repository status and history. A small configuration file stores the protection setting.
A focused tool
FastFlow started as a personal workflow tool. Its scope stays close to the terminal: Bash helpers around Git, with explicit checks before potentially destructive operations.
